I feel like writing today,-

this restlessness, this quiet suffocation,
this heart that feels like a prisoner.
This life… this love,
and the madness it brings along.
And this tangle see,
it keeps growing.
Will you help me untangle it?

I know a little about playing with words,
but I’ve never learned
how to play with someone’s heart.
They say it’s a beautiful game
will you teach me how to play?

खुशी सबै मानिसका लागि फरक हुन्छ। यसको एउटै परिभाषा सबैमा लागू हुँदैन। कसैका लागि खुशी पैसा र सफलतामा हुन्छ, कसैका लागि परिवारमा। कसैले साथीहरूसँग बिताएका क्षणहरूमा खुशी भेट्छन् भने कसैले प्रकृतिको शान्तता र एकान्तमा। कसैलाई भीडभाड, रमाइलो र उत्सवहरू मन पर्छन्, अनि कसैलाई आफ्नै साथमा शान्त भएर बस्न पाउँदा खुशी लाग्छ। त्यसैले खुशीलाई एउटै तरिकाले परिभाषित गर्न सकिँदैन। यो व्यक्तिअनुसार फरक हुन्छ। मेरो लागि भने खुशी अलिकति फरक छ। फुर्सदको दिनमा वरिपरिका फूलहरूबीच पुतली उडिरहेको दृश्य हेर्नु,चराहरूको चिरबिर आवाज सुन्नु, केही क्षणका लागि जीवनको दौडधुपबाट टाढा भएर शान्तसँग बस्नु, वा आफूलाई मनपर्ने काममा भुल्नु यी सामान्य तर सुन्दर कुराले पनि मनलाई अजीब किसिमको शान्ति र खुशी दिदो रहेछ। तर मेरो धेरै समय ल्यापटपको अगाडि बित्छ । की-बोर्डमा शब्द टाइप गर्दै, केही नयाँ खोज्दै, केही सिर्जना गर्दै, कहिलेकाहीँ केही सिक्दै, कहिलेकाहीँ पढ्दै, र कहिलेकाहीँ इन्टरनेटमा रोचक कुराहरू खोज्दै। कहिलेकाहीँ बोर पनि हुन्छु…तर त्यही भित्र कतै नयाँ कुरा discover गर्ने उत्साह पनि हुन्छ। कम्तीमा हप्तामा...

This year, rather than going around trying to understand everyone else, I will focus on understanding myself better. I don’t have to keep running to fix everything, and I don’t have to understand everything either. Sometimes, I will remind myself that it’s okay to pause and just wait. Where my mind feels tired, I will stop for a while. Where I find peace, I will choose to stay. This year, I will not run away from myself.
